Multihand Blackjack
Multihand Blackjack (by Microgaming) enjoys popularity in Canada. It offers an interesting model in which a player may choose the desired number of initial hands from 1 to 5 and bet C$1 to C$200 on each (or in bitcoin if accepted). The classic online game version is played with 5 standard decks and the dealer must stand on all 17 (both hard and soft). At the beginning of each session, the dealer receives a hole card.
Doubling down is possible on the total of 9 through 11 and doubling down after split is not allowed. As per the Split function, a player may apply this rule to cards of the same denomination only (e.g., a pair of queens, not Q + K). Though Split rules are fairly typical for an online casino blackjack, a player may however draw multiple cards to split aces and this adds 0.19% to player’s advantage. Insurance is also available under standard eventualities but surrender is not offered. Multihand Blackjack offers a stunning variability in bet outcomes due to five possible hands to play simultaneously. As in other conservative rules, natural blackjack pays out 3 to 2 (a player is going to add C$25 to the bankroll on a C$10 wager if playing for real money).
